In July of 2023 Patrick was driving from Texas to California and stopped in Laughlin NV for the night. He swiped right that night, then a few days passed and Courtnee saw him. Swiped herself, it was a match! She nervously sent the first message, exchanged numbers, and talked for a few days on the phone. They thought what do we have to lose? She took the four hour drive to Long Beach to watch the sunset on the beach. They both knew there was something special happening and couldn't let this opportunity at love stop them. A few months into their relationship Courtnee packed her things in Bullhead City AZ and moved to Dallas with her son Cooper. Courtnee started a new job and Cooper started a new school and they began their life together. Since then they have had many exciting adventures together, like camping, visiting the family farm in Pennsylvania, going on a road trip to Yellowstone National Park and countless trips to California to see family and friends. In December of 2024 Patrick took the big leap and dropped to a knee at the Dallas Arboretum in front of the big Christmas tree and asked her to marry him. She FROZE.... leaving him on his knee for what he thought was forever but finally said yes when she realized it was real. They have since decided to move home to California in June of 2025 to be closer to loved ones.
