We are very close to maxing out our guest number just with our adult friends, so we are limiting child guests to those of immediate family.
There is parking at the ranch if you drive. If you prefer to be driven, Uber and other rideshares will work fine for getting there. But it can be difficult to get them to pick you up from there unless you arrange for it in advance, because it is a rural area. Lastly, we do not currently have plans for a shuttle. But, if enough of our guests are staying in the same area, we may book one. This is TBD. If one would be helpful for your group, let us know!
We would like everyone to arrive by 4 because we expect the ceremony to start promptly at 4:30. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail/appetizer hour, then a buffet type dinner will follow that, and then dancing and other festivities will run to 9:30/10. Please feel free to join us for as little or as much time as you prefer!
Honestly, we do not care. We want this to be a relaxed, informal, and fun atmosphere. Dress as formal or as relaxed as you like. Our colors are emerald/green and white, so maybe avoid them, if possible, but if you look your sharpest in those colors feel free to wear them as well!
The plan is to have the ceremony and some other aspects outside in the open air. The dinner and dance floor will be under a covered tent. If necessary, everything can be moved under the tent. As far as the weather, in early May in Charlotte it is anyone's guess. Google's AI states that the average temperature is between 60 and 79 degrees, with rain occurring about 15.7 out of 31 days in May. But temperatures can drop below this, particularly in the evenings, or it can be very hot. We will see! We suggest checking the weather in advance to make sure your fit is comfortable.
