From the sunny shores of Torrance, Claire, the eldest of five, a homeschooled vegetarian with a heart full of wanderlust, dreamt of exploring the world. Meanwhile, in nearby Fountain Valley, Patrick, the youngest of four, a tennis-playing, well-traveled soul (who, admittedly, once doubted the existence of vegetarians!), was charting his own course. Fate, in the form of a summer internship in San Diego in 2017, brought these two seemingly different paths together. Their connection was instant, a spark that ignited a summer of shared laughter and undeniable chemistry. That summer, they became inseparable, their hearts recognizing a kindred spirit in one another. Their love story blossomed, weathering the challenges of distance—from Fountain Valley to Los Angeles, then across the miles to Colorado, and even through the uncertainties of a global pandemic. Through it all, their love only deepened. Since then, they've explored the world hand-in-hand, Patrick discovering that vegetarians exist, and Claire venturing into the flavorful world of fried chicken and fish sauce. They've found joy in friendly pickleball matches and countless adventures together. In November 2024, Patrick asked Claire to be his forever travel companion, and she said "Yes!" They are overflowing with joy and excitement as they prepare to begin their married life in June 2025.
