FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones—we really do! However, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We hope this can be a fun night out for you to relax, let loose, and celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements in advance. We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Semi-Formal / Cocktail Attire. We’d love to see you dressed to impress! Please no jeans or casual wear.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of free street parking all around the venue. Guests can also use the parking lot on the corner of Campbell Street and N 5th Street. This lot belongs to First Baptist Church.

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you turn off all phones, cameras, and devices during our ceremony. We’ve chosen to have an unplugged ceremony so that everyone can be fully present with us in the moment as we say “I do.” Thank you for respecting this request and being a part of our special day!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both will take place at the Brooklyn Arts Center in Wilmington, NC, located at 516 N 4th St, Wilmington, NC 28401. The ceremony will be followed immediately by cocktail hour and the reception.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events of the wedding will be happening indoors. There is an outdoor area available if you need to step out for some fresh air, or to catch your breath from getting a little too lit!
