Bri's Version Our story... Its hard to know where to begin, but one thing I know is that God wrote our story and without Him, we would not be the people or have the relationship we do today. We started as friends, meeting at a young adult life group through Grace Church, I can still remember the exact moment I knew there was something different about him and that I was about to fall hard for him. As time went on we grew closer and became the best of friends, we were there for each other through some amazing times and some of the hardest of times. But I think the thing that stands out to me the most is both of our passion for missions in Mexico. We had gone on separate trips and both fell in love with Mexico, the people. and seeing the amazing work of God being done. It forever changed us both and God used those separate experiences to shape our hearts for each other. When we finally got to go as a couple our relationship took on a whole knew meaning, we shared many passions, many dreams and a whole lot of love. So here we are today, continuing to learn and grow together, excited for the journey God has in store for us. Pat's version One questions I use to always ask was how do you know when you find the one? What happens if I missed the one? Everyone of my friends who married before me would answer "you just know", which I came to learn and agree. She is the one, for more reasons than one. I never thought our friendship would grow to this when I first met her. It was great getting to know her while going to life group. And then we got to experience Mexico together. Listening to her talk about Mexico I never really understood until I went after signing up to pour concrete, but God had other plans as well, like doing a VBS with kids. Its amazing how God uses our talents to bring us to where we are and then grow us more. Our next trip together was amazing seeing her faith in God and our relationship grow I knew. I am looking forward to our next chapter in life.
