Go on a hike with someone you love, lose your phone, split up to find it, take a short cut and traverse the bluffs with no trails, realize you can't find the phone or your partner, wait until its dark outside, call the police, find your partner, pick up a pizza, and make a strong cocktail to relax with under some blankets. Or just enjoy the trails.
We came here on our first date and had a blast sipping beer on the patio and catching up while gazing out over the Mississippi. The staff let us stay long past closing time, even they could see we didn't want the night to end. Build in a restored grain elevator right on the river, they have local beer, cider, and wine on tap and also have a rotating food truck.
