FAQs

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

The RSVP deadline has now passed and the online RSVP form is closed. If you have any last-minute changes, please contact the bride and groom directly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We welcome our family and friends to celebrate with us in 'cocktail attire' or 'festive attire'. For those unfamiliar with the 'festive attire' option we have provided a link with some information on that option! https://www.lulus.com/blog/fashion/festive-wedding-attire/ We have also created an inspiration board under "Attire - Festive Cocktail".

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail/festive attire, so feel free to bring your stylish shoes for the ceremony and dinner -- but we know that the City Museum is no ordinary venue! It's an active, climbable, wildly creative space where some guests (especially little ones!) may want to explore. If you're planning to adventure a bit - or just want to stay comfortable once the dancefloor opens - we recommend bringing a second pair of comfy shoes (flats, sneakers, etc.). Some guests will stay in their heels all night, others will be in Nikes by the end. Do what feels best for you - we love a practical fashion moment.

Question

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Indigo & Periwinkle. Shades of blue and purple. Guests are welcome to dress in the wedding colors if they would like! *Please refrain from wearing white dresses, gowns, or suit jackets.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be completely indoors while the reception will be indoors with access to an outdoor area. The average temperature for St. Louis in early May includes highs of 77 and lows of 58 degrees Fahrenheit.

Question

What time should I arrive to the Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the official start time so you can get settled in before the proceedings. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We ask our guests to travel to the venues using their vehicles, local rideshare apps, and the vehicles of our other attendees via carpooling. If you have concerns regarding transportation please reach out to us! For your convenience we have Uber vouchers available via our code: RRZALQRCFYQ *enter our code into your Uber app* or follow this link: https://r.uber.com/RRZALQRCFYQ

Question

Is there parking available at the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes! Both venues have parking available for our guests. The Tower Grove Abbey offers FREE parking but have asked that all guests park in the Shenandoah Elementary School parking lot located next door. This is to be courteous to the residential neighbors surrounding the venue who rely on street parking. There will be a parking attendant present to help guide you to a spot! The City Museum offers parking in their "Serpent Lot" for the price of $15 per car. We have prepaid for a block of parking spots available to our guests on a first-come-first-serve basis. IMPORTANT: The City Museum does not allow cars to remain in the lot overnight. If you anticipate being unable to drive at the end of the night we recommend parking your car at the hotel - 21C Museum Hotel St. Louis (7 minute walk) - or using the surrounding street parking.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras?

Answer

Yes! We would like to encourage everyone to create memories and capture them. We know that we won't be able to join in every moment, but would love to experience them through all the images you share with us!

Question

What will be served during the reception dinner?

Answer

We have opted for a buffet style dinner. Specialized plates are available upon request (ex: vegetarian, gluten free, kids meals). Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP! We will ensure that the dietary restrictions of our beloved friends and family are accommodated in the spread.

Question

I have a dietary restriction. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out to the bride and groom directly so we can make sure you're taken care of. All requests must be received by April 10th to be accommodated.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer
