Welcome to the beginning of our Happily Ever After

It all started when Angelina sat down beside him and struck up a conversation about Lieutenant Dan. Questions about "who the actor was" became questions about "who we were" & "where we were from," and, from there, the "Box of Chocolates" was opened. Patrick was there on a graduation trip in Orlando, Florida to celebrate his graduation from Campbell University, while Angelina and her friend enjoyed a day-off at Universal Studios. By chance, Patrick and his friends decided to eat at the Bubba Gump's at CityWalk two days in a row, and so their chance meeting came to be. He took his sweet time to engage in Angelina's conversation, but, eventually, opened up about himself. His first thought was "why is this person talking to me?," and it slowly transformed into "when will I see this beautiful woman again?" He did not realize, however, that her thoughts did the same, from "who is this cute boy?" to "am I going to see him again?" What neither realized was that they would share a journey together as unpredictable as that "Box of Chocolates" Forrest had, and they never knew what they were going to get.

Over the next few months, Angelina & Patrick faced numerous challenges, but both were there to experience each other's highest highs & lowest lows. Eventually, Patrick decided that Angelina was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. So, after he spent Christmas in Mississippi with her & her family, he asked her parents "Can I marry your daughter?" Enthusiastically, they all said "Yes! Of course!" When they returned to North Carolina, he covertly searched for Angelina's "dream ring" while his mother helped by sharing Pinterest 'jewelry ideas' with her. Once he chose the ring, the plan was made to fulfill her dream at the 'Happiest Place on Earth' & in front of 'Angelina's Magical Home Away from Home'! After a weekend at sea, things fell into place perfectly the night before the 'Day Of', because Angelina found a reservation open for the new Be Our Guest Restaurant and dreamt that Patrick proposed to her in Beast's Castle. The morning of, Patrick could not figure out how to word the question, as he tended to overthink things until the last minute. On the way, Patrick kept the ring a well-kept secret by slipping it into his pocket while they got ready, holding her hand away from his pocket as they walked, and, with the help of security, keeping the ring box hidden going through the metal detector. After dinner, Angelina wanted some photos in front of the Magic Kingdom Castle, so this was Patrick's chance. Once the photographer was done taking their photos, Angelina looked puzzled as Patrick struggled to reach into his pocket, but, when he knelt on one knee, she asked one question: "Is this happening?!?" His response: "Oh, it's happening!"
