Question

Transportation

Answer

It is a very walkable city but filled with many cobble stone paths, so bring good walking shoes! There are accessible city buses which you can tap to pay with your phone for each ride. There are also cabs and it’s an Uber-friendly city, you probably won’t go further than a 15 minute cab ride around the city. Central Taxis: +44 131 229 2468

Question

What is a Ceilidh?

Answer

Pronounced “kay-lee” it is a traditional Scottish dance night that can involve a live band (ours will) with a caller who will announce each step, so you don’t have to know any of the dances. Usually the dances are in partners or groups or lines, and are very lively! Read more about ceilidhs here https://www.thejiggers.co.uk/what-is-scottish-ceilidh/
