we're getting married!

Amelia and Patrick had been in school together since kindergarten, but their story truly began one fall day in October of 2017, when Amelia asked Patrick for help with her math homework as an excuse to talk to him (although she already knew the material quite well). Shortly after, they became inseparable, and the following years of high school and college were filled with countless memories, including the adoption of their dog, Nola, who has yet to become friends with Pippa, Amelia’s cat. Following graduation, Amelia and Patrick moved to Orlando, Florida, in pursuit of Amelia’s career and Patrick’s master’s education. After spending a summer apart during Patrick’s internship in the Northeast, Patrick proposed in July of 2025 while they were in Boston for a long weekend. He planned a surprise sunset proposal at the gazebo in Boston Common. Nine years later, they are still having fun and making new memories together, continuing to make October a month to remember.
