Gorgeous gardens overlooking White Rock Lake. This is where we got engaged!
Dallas is home to many museums. If you're interested in Science, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is fun for everyone with interactive exhibits and amazing architecture. If history is your thing, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza offers a deep dive into Dallas history with the JFK exhibit or visit the George W. Bush Presidential Library. Finally, there are many art museums: the Dallas Museum of Art(DMA), the Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Crow Museum of Asian Art.
There are a lot of fun neighborhoods surrounding downtown Dallas. Our three favorites are Lower Greenville (where we live!), Deep Ellum, and Bishop Arts. If you're in the mood for good food, laid-back vibes, and a little nightlife, head to Lower Greenville. For a more energetic scene, head to Deep Ellum, known for its live music venues, street art, and a mix of dive bars, breweries, and some of Dallas’s best late-night eats. Finally, Bishop Arts District is a charming neighborhood full of local boutiques, cozy cafés, and some of the city’s tastiest restaurants.
