We met during our senior year at Penn State. Even though we were both from Doylestown and Chemical Engineering majors in the same year, it wasn't until we joined a global engineering club, that we first met. Global Engineering Fellows was a new club created to encourage engineering students to study abroad. We first talked at a Welcome Back luncheon during the beginning of the Fall Semester. A few weeks passed and we ran into each other again at the popular bar, the Phyrst, where we bonded over our study abroad experiences in the UK and Germany. We talked all night about our trips (Alexis really loved London) and even got onto some embarrassing childhood stories. As the fall semester continued, we grew closer over weekly coffee dates at Dunkin' (after the Global Engineering Fellows class), karaoke at the Gaff (another local favorite), studying together for our engineering classes, and tailgating for the football season. It may have taken us a long time to cross paths, but look how far we've come since!
