Went to high school with each other - not interested. Drifted apart through college, kept in contact through the occasional tweet, and then fell in love unintentionally one night at Tyler's pub after a few too many spring waters and an invite to Alexis' first rave. After attending a bunch of music festivals and surviving long distance Skype's night after night, Alexis made the first move through text, Pat said "why not" and it was history from there :)
