The hotel is located in the centre of Fremantle, some street noise is to be anticipated. The City of Fremantle is a historic townsite. This means some older buildings were not designed for cars. The hotel can provide off-site parking for $30 per day, but pre-booking is essential. Please contact Marco <manager@hougoumonthotel.com> prior to booking and for a preferred rate. This means some older buildings were not designed for cars. Council parking will be available for a rate. Contact the accommodation for advice on parking, if required. This code is only applicable when booking through the hotel website, and is applicable for all rooms except Studio Garden, 1 Bedroom – Harbour Sunrise, and 2 Bedroom – Ocean Sunset Spa. Train
Our trusty local train and bus network. Train and bus transport cards are called Smartriders. Buy a Smartrider through a kiosk at the Airport Central train station for maximum convenience. Remember to tag on, and tag off at stations before and after boarding. All trains from the airport will take you to Perth train station. From there you may have to switch lines to get on the Fremantle line. Important to note: - You can buy individual tickets at every train station, but you need to know how many zones you're travelling. - Not all stations have machines that facilitate Smartrider top-ups. Check the Transperth website for a list of stations that do top-up. Perth Station and Fremantle Stations have this facility. - Forgot to purchase your Smartrider at the airport? Check the Transperth website for a list of distributors. You can't always buy them at train stations. Perth Station and Fremantle Station have stores that sell them, but check opening times. -
