Question

Is the wedding child-friendly?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy the evening as a mini getaway — eat, drink, and dance with us all night! If you’re traveling with children, we’d be happy to help recommend local childcare options. Contact Yamira for details.

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico?

Answer

Since PR is part of the United States a passport is not required! Yay!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying as close to Old San Juan as possible! However for budget friendly options see the suggested hotels found on the Travel tab. Other neighborhoods we recommend are Isla Verde (close to the beach), Condado and Miramar.

Question

Transportation: Is Uber an option?

Answer

Uber is widely available throughout the San Juan metropolitan area and other populated places such as Carolina and Bayamón.       •    Airport rides: You can request an Uber to and from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, with pickup areas designated for rideshare.       •    Outside major cities: In remote or rural areas and some smaller towns (like parts of Rincón, Fajardo, or El Yunque), Uber may be limited or unavailable, so alternative transport like car rentals or taxis can be easier.       •    Other apps: Uber is currently the main ride-hailing service on the island.

Question

What’s the weather like in May?

Answer

Warm and tropical (mid-80s °F / around 30°C). We recommend light clothing and comfy shoes for dancing! Rain is a possibility but not a show stopper.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code: Tropical semi-formal — think light fabrics, flowy dresses, and festive colors. No jeans or shorts please!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on a beautiful terrace at sunset — expect soft golden light and views. Dinner and dancing will follow indoors, on a covered terrace that opens to the night air for a relaxed garden-style celebration.

Question

Does the shuttle go back and forth to the venue?

Answer

The shuttle will be scheduled to pick-up guests at 4pm. The shuttle will then drop-off guests at the same point after the reception concludes.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes and plenty of it. If you consider driving, note that the venue is in a rural area (winding and narrow roads). We also ask that if you plan to drink, don’t drive or have a plan. Ubers may be a challenge to get from the venue.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

No afterparty. We hope you can make it to the Welcome Night Out on Friday!
