Tampa International Airport is just 30 minutes away from St. Pete Beach and is easily accessible by taxi/uber/lyft. Once in St. Pete Beach, everything is walkable and/or public transportation is around (including a free shuttle service on the beach) Renting a car is not necessary but available at TPA if desired
