Shuttle service has been arranged for guests who RSVP'd for transportation. To the Ceremony Pick-up will be at the Saint Paul Hotel at 1:45 PM. Shuttles will depart promptly, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early. To the Reception Following the ceremony, rotating shuttles will run from the church to the hotel. The hotel is half a block from our venue, Avalon. If you miss the first couple of shuttles, there are plenty of great walkable spots nearby to grab a drink or snack while you wait including NYEs, Aster Café, Sidebar at Surdyk's, Jefe Urban Cocina, The Cabana Club, and Aster House. Second shuttle departing the church to St. Paul will be at 3:55 PM.
Our ceremony will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Northeast, Minneapolis, followed by social hour and a reception at Avalon in St. Paul.
We absolutely adore your little ones! However, due to safety guidelines at our historic venue, children are not permitted in certain areas. Because of this, we have decided to host an adults-only wedding day celebration. Children who are part of our wedding will be in attendance, but we kindly ask that all other guests arrange for a child-free wedding. We appreciate your understanding. Little ones are warmly welcome to join us at our welcome party the evening before.
Our wedding is black tie optional. This means tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome, but not required. Guests are also welcome to wear dark suits, cocktail dresses, or other formal attire.
We recommend hotels near downtown St. Paul or Minneapolis for easy access. We have a block at The St. Paul Hotel, see the Travel link in the navigation for more information.
Please arrive at the church by 2:15 PM to get seated before the ceremony begins. Church doors will close exactly at 2:30 PM.
Ceremony There will be parking in the ramp near Our Lady of Lourdes. The RiverPlace Parking Garage is located on the corner of Bank Street SE and 2nd Street SE. Social Hour + Reception Avalon does not have it’s own parking facility, however we recommend The Science Museum, River Center, Lawson or Victory parking ramps.
