Let's get this party popping!

Patrick and I lived two doors apart from each other in an apartment building in Columbus. We would occasionally would bump into each other and make small talk in the elevator or hallway. I always thought Patrick was cute (he always had a bike or marathon number tacked on and was very friendly). Patrick on the other hand thought I was...let's just say a little "stand off ish." The second weekend in 2015 we bumped into each other at a bar. To my excitement Patrick came up to me and we totally hit it off. We've never been happier and the rest is history!

We were on our annual trip to Aspen with two of Patrick's best friends, Mal and Benton. We all wentcross country skiing and Patrick asked Mal and Benton to take our picture. To my surprise, he got down on one knee and popped the question! Of course I said, "YES!". Later that night Patrick had my brother and sister fly out to surprise me and we spent the rest of the weekend celebrating!
