We first noticed each other in high school chamber choir. Patrick was quiet, only engaging in discussions about science and the weather. Catie was awkward and relentlessly sang at everybody (and still does). Somehow, through swim team and Mozart, fall plays and improv, we found that when we were with each other, we were the best versions of ourselves.
