By far our most frequented place, we love to visit Fishkill Farms. Whether you'd like to pick-you-own fruit or vegetables, enjoy cider on the outdoor deck, or pick up some fresh treats like their tasty apple cider donuts, we couldn't recommend visiting this place enough. It's a great time for all ages.
We are hoping to go to Bannerman Castle ourselves this summer. If you know us, castle ruins sounds like our kind of fun! The castle sits on an island in the middle of the Hudson River and is accessible by ferry. Please check out the Bannerman Castle website for more information.
Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. Storm King is an amazing place to enjoy both nature and art, and a good place for kids to run free!
We are always seeking out what our area has to offer, and we love locally sourced food and beverages. Patrick discovered Sloop Brewing shortly after we landed in Hopewell Junction. They're known for their hazy IPAs, which will be a perfect selection for our end-of-summer wedding weekend.
