Kentucky Horse Park is a working horse farm and an educational park opened in 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky. It is located off Kentucky State Highway 1973 (Iron Works Pike) and Interstate 75, at Exit 120, in northern Fayette County in the United States. The equestrian facility is a 1,224-acre (4.95 km2) park dedicated to "man's relationship with the horse." Open to the public, the park includes shows, museums, presentations, and special events.
The Festival of the Bluegrass, located in Lexington, Kentucky, is the oldest bluegrass music festival in the bluegrass region of Kentucky. The festival takes place the first full weekend of June each year. The Festival of the Bluegrass helped shape the early bluegrass festival culture.

Raven Run is a unique, 734-acre nature sanctuary dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the Kentucky River Palisades and early Kentucky history. The sanctuary is one of the city parks and is thus accessed free of charge. Over 10 miles of hiking trails provide access to streams, meadows and woodlands characteristic of the area. Numerous 19th century remnants of early settlers, as well as over 600 species of plants, allow visitors to become acquainted with and appreciate the natural world. Raven Run also accommodates over 200 species of birds throughout the year.
Spread over more than 20,000 square feet of exhibition space on the edge of the Blue Grass Airport, and loaded with everything from awesome F-4 Phantoms to Bell Cobra copters (the type used widely in the Vietnam War), the Aviation Museum of Kentucky is the perfect place for budding petrol heads and lovers of all things with wings (except maybe birds!).
One of the most well known makers of chocolate, the Old Kentucky Chocolate factory invites visitors to participate in a tour of its factory grounds. The tour provides guests with the opportunity to travel behind the scenes and experience the cooking, molding, and packing process Old Kentucky utilizes to create and sell their treats. The tour brings visitors right to the edge of the table where goods are being crafted and finishes with an “I love Lucy” moment where guests are able to taste a sample directly off the conveyor belt.
