It's wedding time!

We met online and decided to grab dinner at one of Alicia's favorite bars (Royal Tavern) in the city. Both of us had a blast so we planned another date. A few weeks later, we were snowed in together as a polar vortex enveloped Philadelphia. Our relationship grew out of our mutual love for academia, science fiction (and real science), comics and dinosaurs (well, his love of dinosaurs and her love of Jurassic Park). After many more dates and days spent laughing and exploring the city and surrounding area we moved in together in a little walk up. Then Alicia bought a house and we moved into our home in South Philly. Fast forward to a windy November day in 2018. Patrick planned a day out with our friends to take photos and walk around The Academy of Natural Science. We're standing underneath the raptor statues when Patrick pulls the ring box out of his pocket and got down on one knee. Alicia had a huge smile on her face! She said "I hate you" - which is one of our many inside jokes- and then said "Yes!!" We can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends!
