Alex loves the TV show One Tree Hill. So for their first date, Patrick took her to Wilmington to show her all the local filming spots. He took her to the famous Nathan and Haley table and even made her a bracelet that matched the one on the show. They talked all night and listened to live music. That night Alex told her mom she'd marry him one day, and here we are!

On their six year anniversary, Patrick told Alex they were just getting dinner but he wanted to go downtown to see a cover band. She was not interested but asked if they could go sit at 'their' table for a little while. On the way to the table, Alex noticed pictures hanging from the railing behind the table. As they got closer, she noticed it was pictures of them! She thought he was just being romantic. On the table, her bracelet was there with a pair of Minnie Mouse ears. Once she moved the ears and bracelet, "Alex, will you be my wife?" was written on the table. He got on one knee and held up the ring. Of course, Alex said yes!
