We Want to Celebrate with you

I guess you could say adventure has bonded us from the start. Our first few dates consisted of paddle boarding, rock climbing, flying airplanes and skydiving. Adventure just wasn't enough for us though. Within the first month of dating we decided that we would make a trek to Burning Man as a couple. A week in the desert without running water, power or air conditioning is a challenge by yourself, let alone as a new couple. We went with an open mind and ZERO expectation of falling in love during our week in the desert.

With Burning Man being so special to us, Michael had his heart set on making our second trip to Black Rock City even more memorable than our first. With the cancelation of Burning Man 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Michael started brewing up a few creative ideas to propose to Patti in a way that would make sure she knew how special she is. In late September Patti recommended a last minute camping trip to the Black Rock Desert and Michael knew that would work out perfectly. Yes, Patti took an unplanned trip on short notice!! So we loaded the truck up and made our way to Black Rock City with Patti clueless as to what was in store. Once we completed setting up camp, we decided to open a bottle of champagne for a toast. Michael suggested a quick photo with the GoPro which he secretly put in video mode to capture him getting down on a knee. As the tears flowed we knew this was the perfect place to YES to forever.
