Children only in our immediate family will be in attendance for the ceremony. We love all of you and your children, but we ask anyone not in our immediate family to leave your kids at home. We want you to have a good time with no worries about looking after little ones.
The dining will be buffet style with plenty of options. The groom and his family have allergies, too, so we will avoid serving seafood and nuts as best we can. If you have an extremely severe allergy, message or call us and we’ll do our best to provide you with something to enjoy.
Yes! But please let us know when you RSVP!
Our wedding will have a certain whimsical fantasy theme to it. James and I love going to Renaissance faires and wanted to incorporate that vibe into this special day in our lives. If you’re comfortable, and would like to wear attire to match the theme, we encourage you to do so! Put some flowers in your hair and wear a corset, why not? Want to wear a cloak or a kilt? Go ahead! All we ask is that you keep it appropriate and classy. Also, while cosplaying is a fun activity we both love, please refrain from that, too. All that being said, if your comfort level doesn’t go beyond regular wedding attire, that is perfectly ok! We encourage you to add some whimsy to your outfit, but we want you to feel confident while doing it.
Yes! Right here on this website you’ll find the registry tab on the top of the page. There you will find all the info you need. We greatly appreciate everything you all give to us, even if it’s just your presence at our special day.
Preferably, as soon as you can. The deadline for RSVPs will be September 1st, 2025.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at The Smithville Inn. They will provide free valet parking to guests, should you choose to use it. If not, there is parking available along the street in front of the building, in the village, and across the street.
We do! That information can be found under the Travel tab at the top of the page!
