We’re getting married!

Geoff and Patricia first met in the summer of 2009 at Word of Faith Love Center. Life, as it often does, took them down different paths. Patricia left Atlanta to pursue her education and returned a few years later with someone extra special: her beautiful daughter. Meanwhile, Geoff continued doing what he loved bowling and perfecting his craft as a skilled carpenter. With open arms and a full heart, Geoff embraced this new chapter of Patricia’s life. In 2023, they had their first date all over again and it was nothing short of magical. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Over the years, Geoff had always been there a listening ear, a steady presence, and a true friend. Even during those moments when Patricia would get upset and not speak to him for three to six months… only to call him later like nothing ever happened. And almost every time, Geoff answered because the bond they shared was real. Their friendship, tested by time and life, eventually blossomed into a love so strong, it was impossible to ignore. Patricia often jokes that Geoff let her leave and didn’t fight for her to stay and at the time, they both believed it was the right choice for her future. But looking back, they now know it was all part of God’s perfect plan. Geoff had reached a point where he wanted to be with someone he knew was truly for him someone who would show up, give effort, and match his energy. Patricia gave him that… and consistency. Their journey has been full of love, laughter, growth, and unwavering faith and now, it leads to this beautiful moment: saying yes to forever. “When God writes your love story, it’s always worth the wait.” 💍❤️ Scripture that anchors our love: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) What started as a sweet getaway to celebrate their two-year anniversary turned into a moment that would change their lives forever. While enjoying the peaceful beauty of Panama City Beach with the ocean breeze, golden sunset, and the sound of waves behind them ,Geoff decided it was time. With love in his heart and forever on his mind, he got down on one knee and asked Patricia to marry him. Caught completely by surprise, Patricia was filled with emotion… and of course, she said YES! It was the perfect moment not just because of the setting, but because of the love, trust, and journey they had built together over time. That day, on the sand with the sun setting behind them, their next chapter began. Now, they’re counting down to their forever. 💍🌅❤️
