Our journey began March 27, 2022. We saw each other for the first time in years, which is really puzzling because we lived only about 6 minutes apart. Although this is the beginning of our lives together, we actually attended high school together and also once dated back in the 90’s. He was the coolest (square) guy that I had ever met, lol. (I wasn’t ready for real love back then). God’s timing is always perfect timing. It’s crazy though. When I saw him in that convenient store two years ago, I had completely given up on finding love. He said the same thing. Well, in his words “y’all women are crazy!” Against our judgement, we decided to exchange numbers and go out on a date, you know as two old friends just catching up. One thing led to another and now here we are getting ready to join hands in marriage. I often think about how I prayed to God, asking Him to send me a good man, He was probably saying “I did years ago, but you let him go remember, lol.
