How we met...

November 2023

It was love at first sight! Well...it was for Everett at least. His first day at his new job he spotted Patricia across the room in a meeting and instantly knew she was the one. He quickly told one of our co-workers who let the secret slip within seconds. (Thanks Jill!) Patricia had a harder time and fought the feelings for months even cancelling multiple dates before finally agreeing! The rest is history and here we are planning a wedding!

How he proposed!

11.16.2024

Everett proposed at Stanley Park in Westfield. He had some help with planning from his future sister-in-law Emilia and Patricia's best friend Kirstin. The plan was to go to Stanley Park and take "Christmas Photos" for our Christmas card that we actually never got to send. Patricia was looking for every excuse to not go as Stanley Park was a distance away and felt they could take pictures closer. Emilia offered to come take the photos and even convinced Patricia to get her nails done right before. Kirstin offered to bring her family to take some Christmas Photos too. Once at Stanley Park, Emilia told Patricia and Everett to "take the stairs behind the white church looking tower". As they walked through the rose garden Patricia said it may be a good idea to cut through the grass to which Everett said no. Once down another set of stairs Everett realized they were in the wrong spot and proceeded to tell Patricia they had to go back up and around. Patricia said "No I'm not walking back up in the stairs in these heels". In typical Everett and Patricia style they arrived onto the engagement from the back end. Everett's plan had photos set up along the stairs leading down from all the special moments in the relationship. At the bottom was a picnic blanket, picnic basket and a sign that said, "Marry Me".
