Our Vow Renewal!

From a blind date on August 23, 1997 to a wedding on August 15, 1998 ...22 years later we are ready to say “we still do” !!!! We will be renewing our wedding vows, our way with our friends and family, this August and can not wait to celebrate with all of you!!!💗 Please come and join us as we celebrate and renew our commitment to each other!

On the insistence of Byron's sister, Wendy, and after many failed attempts of trying to set up a spontaneous meeting, Byron was coaxed to call and ask me out. The first date was August 23, 1997 at the Knot Pub and went well, even if we walked and I did not get a drive in the snazzy sports car until the second or third date. After 3 or 4 more dates, I decided he was a keeper. Final decision was made by 5 year old Lauren, who was charmed by a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, McDonald's for supper and a Disney movie! The rest is history. We were engaged in December 1997 and married on August 15, 1998! (51 weeks after that first date!)
