Like many modern love stories, ours began the way all great romances do… on a dating app. Last April, both of us had pretty much decided that dating just wasn’t it anymore. But thanks to a little encouragement (okay, a lot of encouragement) from the Maid of Honor, Tricia agreed to give the apps one last try. She opened Hinge, started scrolling, and there he was — Broderick. What started as a simple match quickly turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and the kind of connection that made us both think, “Wait… where have you been this whole time?” Even though we haven’t been together forever, we both knew almost immediately that this was something special and that we wanted to spend our lives together. Of course, every relationship has its challenges. Ours comes every football season. Tricia is a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan, while Broderick proudly roots for the Baltimore Ravens. Somehow, despite this fierce rivalry, we’ve managed to stay united on everything else that truly matters. What started as “one more try” turned into the best decision we ever made.
