Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Yes, pray for good weather! The ceremony will take place in the white pines amphitheater. There are two parking lots a stones throw away.

Is the reception outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be both indoors and outdoors. The shelter will hold all of our guests but we are hoping for lovely fall weather so that you may explore and come to love the parks treasures as we do. You’ll find a beaut of a lake front, sand dunes, play ground, nature center, volleyball court, picnic areas, trails and more at this magical park.

Can we camp?

Answer

You betcha! There are over 200 campsites at Kohler-Andrae and we think they all make for a nice get-a-way. The facilities are very nice as well-showers, flush toilets, mirrors, etc.

What do we wear to this outdoor park wedding?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable. The bride may walk down the aisle in hiking boots, you can too! Here are some examples of what to wear: Shoes: Chacos, Sandals, flats (stilettos are not a good idea!) , gym shoes, hiking boots , mary janes, etc. Example outfits: Man: Khaki pants/shorts, polo or button down shirt, loafers or boots. Woman: Very Casual dress you don't mind exploring in/shorts and a nice blouse, slacks and a nice shirt, etc, mary janes or flat sandals or boots. Please plan on bringing a rain coat and umbrella. The ceremony and reception will proceed despite the weather.
