Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

The night will begin at the base of the grand staircase, right through the main entrance of the museum, with the ceremony taking place on the staircase itself. The ceremony will be relatively brief (30 minutes) and the museum can only make some seating available, so most of us will be standing throughout. If you need a seat, please let us know and we'll be sure to reserve one for you. After the ceremony, there will be a walk through the famous Impressionist wing to the reception room in the back half of the museum. The entire event will be indoors.

Are children welcome?

Yes! We have limited seating for the ceremony, so if your kids are not of an age to stand for about 30 minutes, let us know and we will save you some seats.

Absolutely! We are also offering many vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and alcohol-free options throughout the event. Please let us know if you have any dietary needs to pass along to our caterers.

Will transportation be provided?

Guests will have Uber vouchers available to get to and from the venue.

Is there parking nearby?

Answer

Yes. For those arriving by car, the Millennium Park has several underground parking garages that are steps away from the museum. Trust us: don't bother trying to find street parking or a surface lot, just head straight to those.
