Future Reese's

Patrice and Doug first met in September 2014 while attending the baby dedication of a mutual friends second born child. During a gathering following the baby dedication Doug pulled Leon Elmes (groomsman) to the side and inquired about Patrice. Doug's interest was then shared with Nisha Elmes (bridesmaid) who took the opportunity to arrange a series of occasions requiring the attendance of Patrice and Doug. It was a cold and windy night in which the two had just finished having a friendly dinner at the Elmes residence and Doug took the opportunity to escort Patrice to her car. At this time the two decided to exchange numbers and the two have been inseparable ever since.

While on vacation in the Dominican Republic, Doug scheduled a photo shoot on the beach leading Patrice to believe it was all about having a memory of their first big vacation together. Little did she know the memories Doug really had in mind were much bigger than she could’ve ever imagined. As the photo shoot progress’ the photographer gives Doug the queue to get ready as he distracts Patrice and positions her for the next pose. Patrice stays focused on the camera and when instructed to turn back to Doug she is instantly filled with emotions and says YES! July 4th, 2018 couldn’t have been a more exciting day.
