What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire is requested for the big day. May in New England is typically in the 60s - low 70s so you may want a light jacket or cover-up since the ceremony will be held outside. We also recommend leaving the stilettos at home since the ceremony will be outside in the grass. Dressy casual attire is appropriate for the other events of the weekend.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - there is ample parking available at the 1785 Inn and the Cabernet Inn next door. There will be an attendant (aka groomsman) available to help with parking when you arrive. Please contact the mother of the bride if you would like any assistance with arranging transportation to the inn.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend that you stay at the 1785 Inn or the Cabernet Inn, both of which we have reserved exclusively for our wedding guests. For more information about reserving a room please see the "Travel & Accomodations" tab.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you are arriving on Saturday we recommend arriving at 2:30 pm to give yourself time to mingle and leisurely make your way down to the meadow for the ceremony.
