See as many as you can. For the hikers out there, our favorite is Cathedral Rock. Chapel of the Holy Cross is more accessible—you can drive or walk up (there are some stairs leading to the chapel).
The Wilde Haven Spa is Elle-and-Traci approved for a relaxing, modern experience. For something more luxurious, you have your pick of high-end resorts Mii amo at Enchantment Resort, L'Apothecary at L’Auberge de Sedona, and Sedona Rouge Spa.
For an adventurous ride through the red rocks, book a Jeep tour with a local guide through Sedona Jeep Tours or Pink Jeep Tours. It's a bumpy, dusty, unforgettable way to take in Sedona's stunning scenery—and you'll learn a few fun facts along the way.
Think adult slip-n-slide. This natural rock water slide in Oak Creek is fun for all ages—just bring water shoes (it’s slippery!) and a towel.
One of the most popular arches in Sedona, so go early or be prepared to wait for your perfect Instagram shot. The trail is a moderately difficult hike.
In nearby Camp Verde, this wildlife park is worth the drive. Elle took Izzy when she was little, and they still talk about it today. You can get up close with giraffes, big cats, and bears. It’s a great option if you're bringing kids—or just love animals.
LAS VEGAS If you thrive on the sound of slot machines and mediocre Frank Sinatra impersonators, the drive to Las Vegas is about four hours. It could be a lucky start—or end—to your trip. SCOTTSDALE Most of you are flying into and out of Phoenix. If you have the time, we recommend spending a few days before or after Sedona exploring Old Town, checking out the resorts, playing a round of golf, and visiting Elle’s old stomping grounds in Tempe. The weather is perfect in November. GRAND CANYON If the breathtaking views in Sedona leave you wanting more, head two hours north for a scenic drive that ends at one of the United States’ greatest natural wonders. Sunsets are stunning, but Elle prefers the sunrise. ANTELOPE CANYON For our adventurous friends, you’ll find the Instagram-worthy slot canyon just three hours north near Page, AZ. And while you’re there, don’t miss Horseshoe Bend.
