The iconic 6th street is the best place to go if you're looking to go bar hopping or day shopping. 6th street is nicknamed dirty 6, but don't let that discourage you from visiting! This is one street in downtown Austin and in just a few minutes walk you can walk around some very trendy and fun places! (2nd st, congress st, lamar st)

Zilker Metropolitan Park

This is a 351-acre park great for getting out and walking around. Its on ladybird lake where you can do water activities like kayaking or just splashing your feet. Its going to be HOT be aware.

If you know me, you know I LOVE zoos! The Austin zoo is very unique in the fact that it is up in the hills and is a rescue zoo. You will be up close to animals like never before. Highly recommend :)

If you're not in the mood for BBQ and dont really know what you want, stop by the food truck park with a variety of different options. You'll be sure to find something you like at one of these food trucks! If you've never eaten at a food truck, its a must try!

The Oasis is has one of the best views for a sunset in all of Austin. This dining and shopping area is located on top of a hill overlooking Lake Travis. This is a great place to go get a drink, listen to some live music, do a little shopping and watch an AMAZING Texas sunset.

Whataburger is the stable Texas fast food restaurant! It is a must try if you want to grab a quick fast food burger.

Kerby Lane is the breakfast/brunch hot spot in Austin! They have several locations around Austin, so if you have time after the wedding and before your flight home, stop at Kerby Lane for some yummy breakfast.... try the Migas! They are usually very busy, so don't be surprised if there is a wait.
