Frequently Asked Questions

Question

Are there COVID-19 precautions being put in place?

Answer

Yes, currently, we have limited the amount of guests attending the wedding according to North Carolina Executive Orders. The ceremony will be taking place outside, with distanced seating. Please bring a face mask to wear if that will make you more comfortable. Upon entering the reception venue, they are requiring you to wear a mask entering, and if you need to leave the ballroom to use the restroom. The tables are being socially-distanced within the ballroom and we are limiting only 6 people per table.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail Attire.

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The ceremony is taking place at an outdoor amphitheater -- so please bring a jacket as it may be a bit cold. We are having the ceremony earlier to make it as comfortable as possible, but please keep this in mind. The reception will be inside, so the majority of the festivities will be inside and comfortable.

Question

What kind of food/beverages will be provided?

Answer

There will be passed hors d'oeuvres as well as an open bar of beer or wine while you are waiting for the introduction of the wedding party. There will be a plated dinner paired with a side salad, a dinner roll, and water or tea available.

Question

What is the back-up plan should rain or other inclement weather occur?

Answer

If it is raining on the day-of, or is severely cold, we will not be using the outdoor ceremony location! We would then move the ceremony into the ballroom of where the reception will take place! If you wouldn't mind keeping your phone on you the day of the wedding, I will make sure to get the word out as quickly as possible if we need to switch over to Plan B!
