For the ceremony at Resurrection Philadelphia - Center City (123 S. 17th Street), we have pre-paid parking vouchers to Liberty Place Garage. Please see our ushers at the entrance of the church, who will be handing out vouchers/chaser tickets at the beginning and end of the ceremony. Liberty Place Garage is located at 44 S. 16th Street. When entering, you will get a parking ticket at the gate. When leaving, first scan the original ticket, then scan the voucher/chaser ticket. Please note that the parking voucher is valid for a maximum of 12 hours. **PLEASE NOTE!!! Resurrection Church will not be open to guests until 3:25 PM. If you arrive early, I suggest visiting the comfy lobbies of the Sofitel or Kimpton hotels adjacent to the church until the ceremony start-time begins.**
We recommend reserving parking through ParkWhiz.com or the ParkWhiz app at the Convention Center Lot on 1324 Arch Street. The parking rate is $10 (!!) for 12 hours if reserved in advance. Once you’re parked, head on over to Le Meridien’s Lobby Bar (1421 Arch St.) for a quick pre-wedding stop before we round the corner to Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts at 5:30 PM!
Yes! A shuttle will be making pickups at The Notary (leaving at 3:00 PM) and Le Meridien (leaving at 3:00 PM). If you happen to miss the bus, you can still make it! The ceremony is 0.5 miles away so a 10-15 minute walk or a quick 5-10 minute cab ride. Following the ceremony, the shuttles will take guests to the Le Meridien Lobby Bar (1421 Arch St.), which is a quick walk to PAFA for the reception at 5:30 PM.
Beginning January 3rd, 2022, the City of Philadelphia is implementing a new mandate regarding all indoor dining establishments, including event spaces. All guests dining in any restaurant, bar, or attending an event with food & beverage will need to show proof of COVID vaccination and valid ID for indoor entry. The only exemption is children under 5 years old or a valid medical or religious exemption form from a physician. Please note this is a City of Philadelphia mandate so all restaurants/bars and hotels throughout the city must comply. All guests will need to provide documentation alongside your vaccination card. Valid forms of identification include the following: state ID or passport. For the vaccination card, the physical card or a photo will be accepted. For more information and updates about COVID-19 in Philadelphia, please visit: https://www.phila.gov/programs/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/
We love your little (and not so little!) ones, but want to give you a night off, too! While it was a difficult decision to make the wedding an 'adults-only' celebration, we are happy to assist in finding childcare and provide you with recommended babysitting services. Please contact the bride if you need help or suggestions!
Yes, with the safety and comfort of our guests as top priority, we are requiring all guests to be “fully vaccinated" at least two weeks prior to the event.
We will have masks and hand sanitizer available at all events. While all guests attending will be fully vaccinated from COVID-19, if it is possible to receive the booster prior to our event, we strongly recommend doing so to bolster your protection against the more transmissible variants.
