Welcome to our wedding site!

We met during winter break at the start of 2011 through a mutual friend. We first became Facebook friends, and eventually ended up meeting in person when we both attended the same party in Boston. As they say, the rest is history! The beginning of our relationship including many trips from Boston to Amherst (and back..and back), but we persisted through the long distance dating and moved to Waltham together in 2016. Soon after, we adopted May!

We set off for our yearly trip to the Winter Carnival in Saranac Lake, NY with Sami's family and lots of our friends. During the weekend on Saturday, all of our friends insisted on going to see the ice castle (even though it was traditionally a Sunday trip). Sami, a stickler for sticking to the timeline, was hesitant to go, but eventually decided it was probably a good idea. After a few group photos, Pat asked for a photo of just us and then got down on one knee! It was definitely a little bit of surprise, but Sami had gotten her nails done before the weekend (just in case....!) We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you.. see you in New Jersey!
