Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle available to pick you up at the Hampton Inn of Thibodaux, and bring you to St. Joseph’s Cathedral. After the wedding, the shuttle will be outside the Cathedral to bring you to the reception. The shuttle will then bring you back to the Hampton Inn once the festivities have finished! Detailed shuttle times to come soon. Prefer to drive yourself? St. Joseph’s has ample parking available, and we will have a designated parking area at the reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love kids, and we're excited to have them be a part of the festivities. However, we will not have childcare present at the reception. Any children in attendance will be under the full responsibility of their parents. There are two bodies of water on the property (a pool and a pond) that can be dangerous for unattended children (and especially dangerous at night). If your child is known to wander, it's probably best to leave them with a loved one at home. Please reach out to us at (813) 486-4008 with any questions!

What is the attire for the wedding?

Cocktail Attire Please note: the reception will take place primarily outdoors. While the main event area features installed flooring, we recommend you wear shoes (or bring a spare pair) that allow you to walk on grass so that you can explore the beautiful property a bit!

What is the weather like in Thibodaux this time of year?

Answer

Historically, Thibodaux has benefitted from weather in the low-to-mid 70s on the evenings of May 7th in past years. Knock on wood, it hasn’t rained in Thibodaux on May 7th in ten years. Nevertheless, we do have a rain plan in place in the event the dry spell breaks!
