What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden party black tie optional! Preferably floor-length to midi-length colorful dresses and elegant suits or tuxedos. The bridesmaids will be dressed in light yellow and pale pink gowns, while the groomsmen will be in classic black tuxedos.

What time should we arrive at the venue?

Answer

If you’re not taking the provided transportation, please arrive at Winterthur by 6:00 PM and park in the visitor lot. Trolleys will shuttle guests to the ceremony location.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes! Shuttles will run between the Hotel Du Pont and the venue. More details will be shared closer to the date.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration.

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony; our photographer has it covered! Snap away at the reception!

What’s the weather like in May?

Answer

Late May in Delaware is usually warm and beautiful, around 70s to low 80s. Evenings can cool down, so bring a light layer just in case!
