Yes, if you plan to come to our wedding, you need to be vaccinated. Additionally, we would like you to get tested within a week of coming to the wedding, since there will be an unvaccinated child in attendance (he is currently below the age limit). As much as we would like to pretend that the pandemic is behind us, the delta variant has caused yet another surge in cases. Though we will not be requiring or recommending masks, we do want to be as safe as possible. Please get vaccinated and tested before you see us in October, and we will do the same!
Please RSVP no later than September 15th, 2021. We need to know who to expect so we can finish arranging everything. If you don't RSVP by then, you'll be hearing from us. (Yes, that's a threatening undertone you're reading.)
I mean, not really, but sort of? I'm calling our dress code "Autumn Garden Attire" because we want you to look nice, but also be comfortable. The wedding will be outside. Patrick will be wearing a sweater. Think cable knits, dress pants, cozy dresses, flowy skirts, autumn colors... you get the idea. If you don't, just call me.
If your invitation says you get a +1, then yes. Please only bring someone if you're actually dating... we don't really have the budget to feed friends of friends just for the hell of it.
Yes. In fact, if you have a child, they likely got their own invitation. BRING THEM.
You'll have to drive or carpool with a friend to HoliMont, where you'll park at the main lodge. From there, you'll ride the Expedition chairlift up the mountain (it will be the only one running). At the top of the mountain, you can either walk 1/2 a mile through some very pretty woods to the ceremony site, or you can take the shuttle we'll have ready for you. After the ceremony, you'll walk or ride back to the lift, then take the chair lift back down. You'll drive back to your hotel, park there, and walk to the Banq for dinner. We will have a shuttle to take you to and from the reception, so you don't need to worry about having a designated driver.
We're registered with Zola, and you can find a link to our registry in the menu bar on this website. Please note that we do not expect gifts. If you plan on getting us a gift anyway--first of all, thank you!--but please consider making it a joint gift with a few friends or another couple. We know you're taking on an expense just to join us, so there's no need to spend a bunch of money on a gift.
