Iconic grounds where Casino Royale & Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones were filmed. You can take a ferry to Lecco and walk 30 minutes uphill to explore. Pat & I didn't get to visit, but saw it from boat rides on the lake!
Towns of Menaggio, Nesso, Varenna
Menaggio, Nesso, and Varenna (pictured) are towns on Lake Como, known for their scenic beauty and charm. Menaggio is a popular and convenient base for exploring the lake, with a promenade, main square, and ferry connections. Nesso is a smaller, more hidden village famous for its waterfall, and Varenna is another picturesque town on the eastern shore. We've only been to Varenna and fell IN LOVE - stop by Hotel Royal Victoria!
