Pat and I met on the softball field (go figure). I never actually thought that we would end up where we are now because we just saw each other as friends. I actually thought of Pat as my best friend. I could always count on him any time I needed him. It took me about 6 months to realize that I couldn't imagine my life without my best friend because if I didn't claim him then some other lucky girl would and I would never be able to hang out with him again.
