Best Man
I’m Mike’s younger brother, and I have the incredible privilege of being his best man. I’ll be giving a longer speech at the ceremony during which I’ll talk more about how much I love both Mike and Cynthia and how happy I am for them, but for now I’ll just say this: Mike has been the person I’ve looked up to most throughout my life, and I continuously strive to follow his example of generosity, kindness, and loyalty to his friends and family. Cynthia is an equally strong example of a supportive, caring, and loving person who strives to bring the best out of those she surrounds herself with. I’m thrilled that they met each other, and I’m so happy that I now get to call Cynthia family! See you all soon!

Second Best Man
How do I know Mike: Mike and I have known each other since the 8th grade. Back then, he was way shorter. I was also shorter, but not by as much. Our bond was forged through college trips to castle island, post-college drinks at Meadhall (RIP), and the hundreds (thousands?) of Dunkin runs the entire way through. Fun fact: Just because I am Second Best Man doesn’t mean that I’m a worse best man than Chris. It just means I didn’t benefit from nepotism. Next adventure: Giving mike and Cynthia a great big hug to remind them that I’ll always be there. Always.

It’s sort of hard to tell when Cynthia and Krsna first became friends, was it during high school when she and her shared Dim Sum and Indian Food together in Suburban Strip Malls? or when they first locked eyes during their Med School’s orientation not knowing either we’re going to be there. Whichever way you look at it, they’ve been goony friends since, and Krsna feels SO INCREDIBLY LUCKY to have a kidney bean loving, joy jumping, sloth hugging friend like Cynthia <3 P.S. let us know at the wedding if you want to know the backstory of this photo…

I met Mike on my first day of high school, in our English class. He got there first, and we certainly couldn’t have two Mikes, so I had be to be Jeb for the rest of the year. Our friendship grew through summer trips to Cape Cod and Winnipesaukee, Sunday night study/grading sessions, and endless hours with each other’s families. Chris will say it better than I can, but to know Mike is to know what friendship is. My relationship with him has been a school in kindness, loyalty, and humility—pure grace. Since our fateful meeting in 9th grade, I’ve gotten my name back, entered the Jesuits, and of course, met Cynthia! I’ve been looking forward to this day since Mike sheepishly introduced me to Cynthia at an EMS game night, and it was clear what was going on! Fun fact: My job involves managing a thousand-person, migrant-worker cricket league in a church parking lot. Also, I just want to note that Mike is one of the best people I know, and it’s his wedding, which might make Nikhil the third best man, actually. Next adventure: courtesy of the Jesuit Refugee Service, I move (back) to Lebanon a few days after this party! Strangely enough, the Navy and the Jesuits rarely seem to agree on where Mike and I should be assigned.

I got so lucky we were random medical school roommates, turned best friends.... Fun fact to come :)

Mike and I got to know each other in his Jeep, outside the Corpus Christi gem Taqueria Almeida No. 3, in the throes of 2020. It was also in the Jeep that we shared the 20-hour drive home, some terrible audiobooks (get out of here Audible), and some really, really great conversations. Mikey, I cherish the way we can talk about the world, from near and afar. I’m so proud and so happy for you ❤️

My childhood wouldn’t be the same without Cynthia in my memories of every season: summer hiking, winter skiing, and every Sunday lighting up my life with her smile and the occasional cheesecake brownie. Fun fact: Cynthia and I did a duet of For Good together shortly before graduating high school and I’m still sappy about it Next adventure: London as soon as possible

I met Mike at college where we did basically every extracurricular together (club hockey, NROTC, and CrimsonEMS), which I think makes us soulmates; move aside Cynthia. Despite military assignments keeping us on opposite sides of the country for most of the past 5 years, I’ve cherished the opportunities where my wife Jackie and I get to see Mike and Cynthia. Mike is one of my best friends and a great man, and I am honored to be a part of his and Cynthia’s big day.

Cynthia and I are childhood friends! I’ve known her since the 2nd grade and we used to live one street over from each other. Fun fact: I have a cat named Pickles who loves tummy rubs and playing fetch. Next adventure: My parents moved to Delaware recently and I’ve been wanting to take a road trip to Assateague Island. I’d love to catch the wild horse migration that happens in July.

I met Mike and Cynthia in college where they were both part of our campus EMS group. Over the years I've been privileged to watch them grow into two truly wonderful people whose kindness, sincerity and thoughtfulness we can all look up to. Wishing them all the best in the next chapter of their lives together.
