Our story goes way back to the MySpace days in high school. We bonded over our love for sneakers and kept up with each other through social media—just quick “hey” and “bye” moments in person, but nothing more. Fast forward over 10 years later, and everything changed thanks to Instagram (and his cousin Mae). After Mae posted a video of Joya, he slid into her DMs with the unforgettable line: “Tell Joya I want to be her sugar daddy.” 😂 What started as a joke turned into our very first date—a boat party for Joya’s sister Lexie’s birthday in October 2018. From that night on, we’ve been inseparable, proving that sometimes the best love stories start with sneakers, social media, and a bold DM.
