Eager to start their Wake Forest University experiences, Rachel and Will moved into their dorms early, participating in pre-orientation programs: Will in the spirited Deacon Camp program, and Rachel in the much more superior, community-focused program, SPARC. The very first full day on campus, they met in Will's freshman dorm's lobby, Babcock Residence Hall, and quickly became friends.
To this day, Rachel gives Will a hard time about how quickly they grew to like each other even though one was reluctant to start anything new. However, as they bonded over goal keeper training, Wake soccer games, music, and goofy adventures with their friends, Will couldn't deny there was something there. Eventually, Will became Rachel's best friend as did she for him.
Will and Rachel graduated from Wake Forest in the spring of 2019 and moved their lives to Dallas. As they started their careers in Marketing, it was clear they had too much time and love on their hands. The two welcomed Maddie the Bengal cat and Rosie the pure-bred mutt to their small Dallas apartment. It was a grand "will they, won't they" story that kept everyone guessing, but after two proposals and six amazing years, Rachel and Will decided to make their little family official.
