Hailey was invited to Hunters house by a mutual friend where he was making his dads famous beer battered halibut. From there they began talking, spending more time together, and finally going on their first date to Kobe. Shortly after the two started dating Hunter signed for the keys to his house and headed down to Homer to spend time with his family, this is where Hunter would ask Hailey to move in with him. This was such a crazy idea for both of them as they had only been dating for a short while, but if you ask either of them they will tell you it is the best decision either of them had made!

Hailey was completely under the impression this visitto the family in Homer, AK would be like any other, packing the basic band tees and sweat pants. After the four hour commute to Homer we arrived at the parents house when Hunter asked Hailey to get her shoes back on, they had to go. Absolutely confused as they had just arrived she hopped in the car, a short minute drive down the road looking past the houses on the bluff over looking the bay she told Hunter "waking up to that view must be amazing." . With a smile on his face Hunter said " I am happy you think so" and pulled into this quaint spa and inn over looking the bay, once signed in we had our own suit including a king size bed, a spa shower, and our own privet hot tub over looking the bay. On January 30th 2021 Hunter and Hailey were enjoying the Hot tub with a beautiful view of the sunset when Hunter asked Hailey if she would marry him

Hailey Found out she was pregnant in the downstairs bathroom while Hunter was getting ready for work. After confirming with the Doctor two days before their engagement photos, she contacted the photographer to set up getting Hunters reaction. After hiding the evidence and a cute pair of baby booties in a target bag she told Hunter DO NOT LOOK IN THE BAG! The photographer asked Hunter to tell Hailey a Secret, Hunter said "I don't know, I don't have any" so the photographer told Hailey to tell her secret so she looked up at Hunter and said "I'm Pregnant" the photographer began snapping as many photos as he could to get the perfect reaction shot. Which was Hunter staring past Hailey right into the camera only to say "Rude" After a moment it clicked and Hunter finally realized Hailey was not joking to get a reaction and that he was going to be a dad!
