August 2014: Paskal was honorably discharged from the Navy and decided to stay in San Diego (Paskal was born and raised in New York) August 2015: Anissa moved to San Diego to attend SDSU (Anissa was born and raised in Orange County, CA) January 2016: The two matched on Tinder February 2016: Met in person for the first time at Bub's at the Beach, a bar in Pacific Beach, San Diego February 2016: Paskal asked Anissa to be his girlfriend December 2017: Anissa visited New York for the first time to meet Paskal's family May 2017: Anissa graduated from SDSU and decided to stay in San Diego to start her career June 2018: Adopted Milo together (a super mutt from Tijuana, MX)... there was no going back now! March 2020: The start of a year and a half of quarantining together May 2020: Paskal graduated from SDSU June 2021: Paskal started his career in Orange County (commuted to San Diego on the weekends) August 2021: Anissa and Paskal moved to Orange County April 2022: Paskal proposed while on a trip to San Francisco (on Anissa's birthday!) April 2023: Together, they plan to say 'I do"
