Car Hire

For our International guests staying longer in South Africa, we highly recommend hiring car at the airport upon arrival, as the location is quite remote with no Uber or not much taxi service. If possible we highly recommend 4x4 vehicle as they will be able to handle the road better. There are many different car hire companies to choose from AVIS, Hertz etc at Durban Airport. We suggest first taking a look on Skyscanner or KAYAK to find special deals. (UK Photo Driving license can be used while driving in South Africa for up to 12 months.)
